About Us: We are a dynamic and passionate Soccer Association committed to promoting the beautiful game of soccer in our community. With a strong focus on player development, community engagement, and fostering a love for soccer, we are seeking an Office Administrator to join our team and help us achieve our goals.
Job Description: As the Office Administrator of our Soccer Association, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative functions. You will be the backbone of our organization, responsible for managing office activities, assisting with program coordination, and providing excellent customer service to our members.
This is a full time position - 40 hours/week. Competitive salary range based on education and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Administrative Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, including handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries, maintaining office supplies, and managing schedules.
Membership Support: Assist with membership registration, renewal, and inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for our members.
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing soccer events, tournaments, and meetings, including logistics and scheduling.
Financial Administration: Handle financial transactions, record-keeping, and assist with budget management.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with members, volunteers, and stakeholders via email, social media, and newsletters.
Database Management: Maintain accurate records of members, participants, and volunteers using our database systems. Confidently work with TEAMRAMP program.
Facility Management: Oversee the use and booking of facilities for soccer-related activities.
Other Duties: Undertake other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful completion of an Office/Business Administration program or equivalent from a post-secondary institution.
Demonstrate a strong desire and ability to work with and foster relationships with our members, governing bodies and peers.
Previous office management or administrative experience, preferably in a sports or non-profit organization.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) Confident in learning to work with new programs.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for soccer and an understanding of sports associations is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and meetings.
