The Mount Pearl Soccer Association is excited to announce the schedule for the upcoming Identification and Tryout Sessions for our 2025/2026 Annual Program. These sessions mark the start of our soccer season and are designed to help place players in the appropriate training environments based on their age and skill levels.

Under 7 - Under 9

Session Overview: Identification Sessions (U7-U9):

The identification sessions are designed for younger players (U7-U9) to assess their comfort level and interest in playing soccer, as well as their ability to listen to coaches' instructions and follow directions on the field. This is also a fantastic opportunity for parents to meet with our Technical Directors and coaches to gain insight into the program and learn more about what to expect as their children develop in the sport.

Under 10 - Under 11

Session Overview: Identification Sessions (U10-U11):

For the U10-U11 age groups, these sessions are aimed at assessing each player's skill level. As this age group is still in the developmental phase, players will be evaluated based on their skill levels during the identification sessions.

Under 12 - Under 17

Session Overview: Tryout Sessions (U12-U17):
For players aged U12-U17, the tryout sessions will assess players' technical skills and game understanding. These sessions are a critical part of player placement for the season, ensuring that each child is placed in a setting that best supports their development
